Cambridge Quiz with a prize for the winner!
Photographic competition for club members only, to be judged by a professional photographer.
Bring your unmounted 6x4 prints on the subjects:- Water, Spring, Green and Buildings.

Each member may submit up to 6 pictures and no more than 3 in any one category.
Remember to put your name on the back.
To enter you must have let Sarah know your submissions by e-mail by Monday 1st March.

Mini digital photography surgery - bring your camera and any camera related problems you have.

Awayday Sunday 16th May
Family day out. Lunch at the Bridge Pub at Waterbeach followed by a walk along the towpath.
Meet 11.30am Coles Lane car park.

Awayday Monday 24th May
Jackie Latham (tower captain) has kindly offered to take club members up into the bell tower at St. Mary's, Linton.
This is a great opportunity to take pictures of the bells themselves and also the views of the surrounding countryside from the top of the tower.
Meet outside St. Mary's at 7pm.
Please note that the stairs and ladders are very steep and you should wear suitable footwear.

Digital Photography Workshop / Instruction, including help putting your pictures on flickr. There will also be a short fun quiz.

Beth Chatto's Garden.
Meet outside the Dog and Duck at 9.30am.
This will be an all day trip. Admission fee £5.00


Photo Display in the Church Pavilion Saturday and Sunday 26th and 27th June.
As part of Linton Flower Festival and Fete.
Theme, "What a Wonderful World", (not a competition, any subject except children)

A 45min trip on the boat Rosie from the Plough pub in Fen Ditton to Jesus Green Lock and return.
Meet 10am Coles Lane car park. Cost is £5.00 per person.

Linton Camera Club Annual Exhibition Saturday 16th October
10.00am to 4.00pm at The Village Hall, Coles Lane, Linton.
200+ photographs on display which will be available for purchase.
Win a framed A4 copy of your favourite photograph from the exhibition.
Photographic equipment, cards and artwork for sale.
Refreshments available including home made cakes.
Raffle in aid of the Alzheimer's Research Trust.
Admission free.

Black and White Photographic Competition.
Three categories:- People, Nature and Your choice of subject
Photos to be A4 borderless only, bring Velcro & Blu-Tack for mounting.
Judging by a professional photographer. Details of your entries to Sarah by Monday 4th October.

John Keeble will be giving an image show on Weather, and a short talk on Photo Editing Techniques.

Linton Camera Club Dinner Friday 19th November
Dinner at the Crown Inn, Linton for club members and partners/guests.
Please fill in your menu choice sheet sent recently by email to members.
Send this with cheque payment to Sarah by 27th October.
£22.50 per head for 3 course meal with coffee. Drinks extra.

Camera Club monthly meeting Monday 13th December
Incorporating the Annual General Meeting.
Followed by refreshments, mulled wine and a video of the Wacky Races by Ron Pitkin and Roger Lapwood.
Bring along any pictures of your choice you wish to show after the Wacky Races video. As usual, maximum of 6 per person.
